Our family is all naturally large people. We set up this hammock and tightened is according to instructions. My nephew was the lightest at about 140 lbs, so he was the guinea pig to test the hammock. He sunk straight through to hit almost bottom. His body was folded up at the waist, and he was almost unable to heave himself out of the hammock.For grins and giggles, I sat in it. Mind you, I am a large woman, about 200 lbs, and I hit rock bottom, and simply got stuck in the darn thing. It was hilarious - a riot! We had a great time packing the sucker up and selling it for almost half price on Craigslist. Why did we not return it? Because we had had it for a year before we unpacked it and sat it up....This product is very flimsy, and awkward overall.
