I purchased 4 of them for my family. All 4 boxes came with 2 big holes in each and the under part of the armrests sticking through the holes, so all 8 arm ends are scratched and chipped up. The bags the chairs were in were ripped open because of it. They need to be packed in deeper and stronger boxes. Two of them have other damages such as a chip missing from the top of one arm, some scratches, and a ripped almost in half black top handle, that I am going to try and sew it together. The seat is short and I'm only 5'2, and the front bar hurts under my mid thighs when stretched out. If I bend them to sitting position it is OK. As I am testing one, the arm slips back on one side. I look under and see it has small molded plastic notches. I can see these wearing down with use. And now to shut it-it must be turned upside down or sideways, because you have to grab the bottom legs and push them together, but the backpack doesn't close good with just 3 small velcro strips with big gaps in between, so need to be careful that items don't spill out-It really should have a zipper closure. The arms are hard plastic, but they are molded smoothly and they are comfortable to put your arms on. At 100 pounds under the maximum weight, I can see the stitching pulling away at the rear of the seat-so I don't recommend 300 pounds in this chair.
