Rabid Monkey Punch fans are free to rate it higher, but the rest of you need to think about this… because you probably won’t like it.At least the premise is interesting: a couple of private detectives almost die during an investigation gone wrong, but when they wake up about a week later they discover that they can no longer see or associate with each other… because they are sharing the same “body” and alternating days being awake and in control of it, “switching” at midnight. It is interesting to watch them trying to figure out what is going on and how to communicate with each other because while they share things physically (eating, getting hurt, etc.) they do NOT share things mentally so just communicating with each other becomes something of a challenge and (depending on the circumstances) either a hindrance or a help to them during the given case. The problems start when they finally track down the scientist who did this to them and learn:it wasn’t necessary to save their lives, rather it was just his idea of seizing the opportunity their situation offered,it is part of his idiotic theory on how to preserve people alive despite possible future food shortages, which even if it worked would effectively cost them half of their remaining lives, despite the fact that he ends up owing our heroes his life at the end, he refuses to “fix it” even though he thinks he can.Note: Female breasts are infrequently bared so Be Ye Warned.Note: Only subtitled in English; there is no English voice acting.
